Girly lumberjack top

Girly lumberjack top

I keep getting fooled when I see these boxy loose fitted shirts on the beautiful Burda models. I know I prefer a more fitted style for myself, but somehow the combination of easy sewing and beautiful models convinces me I should try it again. It’s not just the models, I’ve checked out other sewers makes and they all look great too.

Maybe it would look better with a skirt. Most other versions I’ve seen have been paired with a pencil skirt. Or maybe this fabric is all wrong.

My sewing is stalled again, due to a messy workroom. We’ve finished up all the renovations in our apartment, but now my sewing room is filled with old shelves and other items that are in need of disposal. I’m not even making Christmas PJ’s this year. The kids are disappointed.
