I made this romper at the end of last summer and I’m not sure if Adeline even had a chance to wear it before the weather turned. I wasn’t completely in love with it, but I decided to take it on vacation anyway. These pictures don’t quite do it justice; the romper is super adorable. It’s the pockets and leg ties that make it so sweet.
I used the Kid’s Romper Revamp class on Craftsy. I still have to watch the section on making this into a dress, and I probably will now that I’ve seen how cute it is on her. I learned lots of great sewing tips, but the most useful part was of Shelley measuring her model; Adeline watched and let me measure her perfectly. For a few days following she would bring me the measuring tape and ask to be measured. I’ll have to let her watch it again, she’s grown lots since I took those measurements.
