Valentines Pajamas

Valentines Pajamas

Pajamas are my favorite things to sew. I first found Ottobre magazine at the airport in Frankfurt and this long johns and undershirt pattern is from the 6/2010 issue. This is the first pattern I sewed for Casper back in 2010 and I am always nostalgic when I sew up a new pair. He’s is now in size 122 (the largest size of this pattern — sniff) and Adeline is wearing size 104. For Adeline, I modified the pants to get rid of the front panel, but I wanted to keep the butt panel to make it easy to add ruffles (she insists on them).

These kids are way too happy to show off their butts.

I’m pretty sure both these knits came from Denver Fabrics, but I can’t find either now. For the decal I used Printable Heat Transfer Material for Dark Fabrics from Silhouette America. I’ve had the package for a couple of years and finally tried it. I really like the way it turned out, but after only 1 wash they are showing signs of wear. I don’t think I will buy this again, but I do have 4 sheets left.

Awww, I love their love. If only it was like this all the time.
